At Jelly Kvlt, we believe fashion should be a space for creativity, individuality and self-expression. We also believe that the way we produce and communicate about our products matters.
As an independent Belgian brand, we favour made-to-order production, original artistic designs and transparent product information over sweeping promises of sustainability.
Here is how our approach works, what we can stand behind and where we still have room to improve.

Why We Choose Made-to-Order Production
Most Jelly Kvlt physical products are made after you place your order rather than manufactured in large quantities for stock.
Unlike the mass-production model often associated with fast fashion, this allows us to offer a wider universe of original designs without filling warehouses with finished garments that might never find a home.
Less emphasis on volume, more freedom for creativity. From cosmic patterns and surreal florals to gothic and mythological artwork, we can keep exploring new visual worlds without committing to large production runs in advance.
Producing on demand also helps us avoid unnecessary stocks of unsold finished products. This is a practical advantage of our model, although it does not automatically mean that every item has a lower overall environmental footprint.
The trade-off? Each order requires production time before shipping, and making individual pieces comes with different costs than manufacturing at scale. We believe that extra preparation time is a worthwhile exchange for a more flexible, art-driven way of creating fashion.
Materials: Transparency Over General Promises
Different Jelly Kvlt products have different material compositions. Some contain recycled polyester or other specifically documented fibres, while others use conventional textiles, cotton blends or synthetic materials.
We do not present every product as recycled or environmentally friendly simply because it belongs to the Jelly Kvlt collection.
Why Production Location Matters
Our products are made through specialized manufacturing partners, including Printful. Depending on the product and destination, production may take place at different facilities using different fabric specifications.
Some fabric compositions changed during our suppliers' 2026 production updates. For certain product families, recycled content and material composition now vary by manufacturing region.
Always refer to the individual product page for the applicable composition, care instructions and manufacturing information.
Certifications & Product Characteristics
Where applicable, individual products or materials may have documented characteristics such as recycled content, organic fibres or relevant textile certifications.
For example, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 concerns testing for certain harmful substances in textiles. It should not be confused with a certification of a product's overall environmental impact.
Certifications and material claims apply only to the products, components and production conditions for which they are documented. They are not universal guarantees covering every Jelly Kvlt item.
Our Planetary Renewal Project
Creative expression can also help support environmental initiatives.
Through our Planetary Renewal Project, Jelly Kvlt supports tree-planting and plastic-collection initiatives through GoodAPI, formerly known as Sprout.
These contributions help fund environmental activities carried out through specialized projects and partners. They are separate from the materials and manufacturing processes used to create our products.
Supporting tree planting or plastic collection does not mean that a purchased item becomes carbon neutral, plastic-free or free from environmental impact.

Production & Traceability
Jelly Kvlt designs are developed in Belgium and brought to life by third-party production partners specializing in printed apparel and accessories.
Printful is our main print-on-demand production partner. Other specialized suppliers may also fulfil selected product categories.
Manufacturing locations, materials, printing methods and fulfilment arrangements can vary by product and destination. We therefore provide product-specific details rather than promising that every item follows the same production process.
We continue to review supplier information as materials and manufacturing arrangements evolve.
What We're Still Working On
Transparency also means acknowledging the limits of our model.
- Materials: Not every Jelly Kvlt product contains recycled or organic fibres.
- Packaging: Packaging materials and practices can vary depending on the supplier and fulfilment region.
- Traceability: Our access to upstream supply-chain information remains dependent on our manufacturing partners.
- Environmental impact: We do not claim that purchasing a Jelly Kvlt product is carbon neutral or eliminates its environmental footprint.
As a small independent brand, we aim to keep improving the information we share and the choices available to our customers, while staying realistic about what we can verify.
