Our approach goes beyond production choices. It combines responsible manufacturing, conscious consumption, and direct environmental action.

Our Concrete Commitments

Made-to-Order Production

All Jelly Kvlt products are made only after an order is placed. This print-on-demand model reduces overproduction, unsold stock, and textile waste — one of the most damaging aspects of fast fashion.

Responsible & Certified Materials

Whenever possible, our products use:

  • Recycled polyester
  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics (tested for harmful substances)
  • Durable materials designed to last beyond seasonal trends

No Animal-Derived Materials

Jelly Kvlt does not use leather, wool, silk, or any animal-derived materials. All collections are 100% vegan-friendly.

Non-Toxic Printing

Our designs are printed using water-based, non-toxic inks, compliant with international safety standards.

Slow Fashion by Design

We intentionally limit releases to a maximum of two main collection cycles per year, prioritizing timeless designs over trend-driven drops.

Planetary Renewal Project

1 Product = Real Environmental Impact

Sustainability at Jelly Kvlt doesn’t stop at materials or production. Through our Planetary Renewal Project, every purchase contributes directly to environmental restoration.

1 Product = 1 Tree Planted

We’ve partnered with GoodAPI to plant one mangrove tree for every product sold. This initiative focuses on reforesting mangrove ecosystems in Madagascar and Kenya, helping to combat climate change, revive habitats, and support local communities.

Why mangroves? Mangroves absorb up to four times more CO2 than other tree species, protect coastlines from erosion, and provide essential habitats for wildlife.

Planting is carried out through Veritree’s collaboration with GoodAPI and Eden Reforestation Projects.

Plastic Removal: 10 Bottles per Product

In addition to planting trees, Jelly Kvlt also funds plastic cleanup. For every product sold, we contribute to removing 10 plastic bottles from the environment via Plastic Bank in partnership with GoodAPI.

This supports ocean-bound plastic collection (within 50 km of waterways and coastlines), preventing it from entering oceans and harming marine life. Recovered plastics are recycled to help reduce CO2 emissions and support a circular economy.

Our Limits & Areas for Improvement

We believe transparency builds trust. Jelly Kvlt is a small, independent brand — and not perfect.

Current challenges we openly acknowledge:

  • Packaging is not yet 100% plastic-free in all regions
  • Full upstream traceability of raw material suppliers remains limited
  • We rely on third-party manufacturing infrastructure

These areas are actively monitored and will evolve as the brand grows.
